From Factory to Facebook: A Marxist Critique of the Current Crisis

What is a Marxist Approach to the transition from Industrialism to Cognitive Capitalism?

Find out this Sunday, April 22nd 2012. When Jason Francis Mc Gimsey takes on the Fat Cats of the Corporate world.

Unstrung Letters is an informal lecture series. It’s critical (some one presents an opinion, takes a stance); it’s casual (it’s in a dingy bar). It’s in Paris. It’s in English.

Rather than being an academic series, we’re academically-minded. We have the freedom to be more grandiose and less nit-picky than Academics.

Every lecture lasts about an hour and is followed by open discussion.

This week, Jason Francis Mc Gimsey will be discussing a Marxist critique of the economic crisis. Specifically, he will speak in the tradition of the Operista movement, a political and intellectual interpretation of Marx started in Italy.
